It’s Thankful Thursday! Thankful Thursday is the day we here at iPinnedIt feature a super-easy, super-cute thank you gift idea (emphasis on easy and cute) for ya’ll! Did you see last week’s “Thank you ‘beary, beary’ much!” idea? And, don’t miss my “Thanks for being a ‘WHOPPER’ of a friend!” gift idea! Be sure to check those out!
So, according to the calendar, the school year will very quickly be coming to an end! I can just picture us now–some of us are jumping for joy, while others of us are having an anxiety attack at the thought of kids completely covered from head to toe with the stickiness of melting popcicles as they run amok throughout our houses. All day. Every day. With all of their friends. And probably some random dog in tow as well. But, I digress . . .
The point is that our kids will be finishing up their school year, but before they do, it would be an awfully nice gesture to give a sincere thank you to the teachers in their lives, and one iPinnedIt reader has just the ticket for that!
Jenifer says: “It was teacher appreciation week at school a couple of weeks ago. Addison has an AMAZING teacher! I didn’t want to do a run-of-the-mill gift for her. I scoured Pinterest for just the right gift. An apple for the teacher is great, but I wanted something that stood out. I found this on Pinterst and followed the link. The website that I got the idea from also had a printable. Couldn’t get any easier or cuter.”
Huzzah, Jenifer! From what I gather from the teachers I know, school supplies are always in short supply and are very much welcomed as gifts from students as opposed to yet another apple with a clock in it. (One only needs just so many apples with clocks in them is my guess. But, that’s just me.)
This idea sent in by Jenifer is simply perfect for a teacher! It is super-easy to put together, it requires no baking or cooking and hence creates no mess, and it can be prepared well in advance so you are not scrambling at the last minute to come up with something (anything!) for your child’s teacher. BINGO!
All you need to make this adorable and useful teacher appreciation gift are a bunch of Sharpies (I love them!) and a tall, narrow, lidded container similar to a Crystal Light package.
To wrap it all up with the so, so cute label, go to Jenifer’s original Pinterest source, www.design,wash,rinse,repeat.com, and click on the green box where it says, “Freebie: teacher appreciation,” print out the label (did I mention it is so cute?!), glue it to your container, and you are all set to wrangle an “A+” for your kid show some serious teacher appreciation!
Just look at that darling card attached to the gift which Jenifer’s little girl, Addie, made for her teacher. So cute. Thank you so much for sharing this awesome Thankful Thursday gift idea with us, Jenifer!
Okay, gang! Be sure to come back next Thursday for another simple and darling (emphasis on simple and darling) thank you gift idea!
